Landscape and nature photography is one of my passions that has grown over time spent outdoors in the local coastal, desert and mountain regions of Southern California. I spend some of my spare time visiting and exploring the local coastlines, wilderness areas and national parks, and try to capture that experience through photography.
The photographic medium is one that I'm constantly learning and exploring and feel lucky to be living in a time where digital techniques allow a lot of flexibility and control over the image, both in the field and in post production. I do however, practice restraint with these tools, and in the images you see in my gallery, I do not add objects (moon, rocks, trees, etc.). Occasionally I will remove minor distracting elements that do not add to the image.
You'll find in my gallery many images from local coastal locations, including Huntington Beach, Little Corona Beach and the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. You'll also find images from nearby desert parks including Joshua Tree National Park, Death Valley National Park and the Mojave Preserve.
Thank you for taking the time to look through my gallery. If you have any questions concerning my images, photography, or any related topics, please feel free to send me a message and I'll be more than happy to respond.
